Patient Portal
The Stettler Medical Clinic has partnered with Pomelo to offer a patient portal allows you to make bookings with your physician up to two weeks in advance. You can see which appointment time slots available and choose one that is best for you. You can also cancel and reschedule your appointments 24-hours a day, including weekends.
Parents of children 16 and younger can manage their appointments on their behalf.
Pomelo Patient Portal
Have you already signed up for our patient portal?
How do I register for the patient portal?
You will need to supply our front desk staff, or your physician's MOA or nurse, with some contact information in order to receive an invitation to join the patient portal. You can give this information in person on your next visit, or by phone.
The information that we will need is your:
- Alberta healthcare number (if by phone)
- Email address
- Cellphone number
- Postal code
If you do not have a cellphone number, please give them your landline number. You will receive an invitation email from Pomelo once we have updated your patient profile. Follow the instructions in that email to complete your registration.
How do I access the patient portal?
On your iPhone or Android phone, tablet, laptop or PC/Mac, go to: portal.healthmyself.net
Save this link to your bookmarks or favourites for easier access. Alternatively, you can come to this page and click on the Sign into Pomelo buttons.
Can I make online bookings for my children?
Yes, as long as they are younger than 17 years old. Once you've signed up for the portal, log in and scroll down. You should see an option to manage connected accounts. Select this option and enter your child's information.
You will need your child's healthcare number, and at least one of these information items must be the same for you and your child in our electronic medical records system:
- Phone number
- Postal code
If you cannot add your child, please call to make sure that your information and your child's information is correct in our system. If your child has never been to our clinic, you also will not be able to add them. This feature will available to you after your child's first visit.
Can I make appointments for my spouse or partner?
Not yet. Due to legal privacy concerns, we are not permitted to offer this service at this time. We are in the process of formalizing a consent for that your spouse or partner can sign giving you online access to their appointments. This page will be updated once we receive the go-ahead from the provincial privacy officer.
This legal requirement also applies to children 17 years and older.
