Dr M Agwaze

Dr Martins Agwaze was born in Nigeria. He graduated with a medical degree from the University of Benin in 1991. He completed his Specialist Residency Program in Family Medicine from the Medical University of South Africa (Now University of Limpopo) in South Africa. He immigrated to Stettler, Alberta, Canada with his family in December 2008. Dr Agwaze has actively been involved in a full scope of family medicine including general medicine, Prenatal and Maternity Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Geriatric Care. In September 2012 he included a walk-in clinic into his practice.

Dr Agwaze has travelled widely for academic activities including New Zealand, South Africa, Namibia and the United States. He belongs to many medical associations/Councils including Nigeria Medical and Dental Council, Namibia Medical and Dental Council, Health Professional Council of South Africa, South African Academy of Family Practice, Alberta Medical Association, Canadian Medical Association, College of physicians and Surgeons of Alberta and College of family physicians of Canada.

He holds the following academic profile: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery; Master of Medicine with Specialty in family medicine; United States Medical Licensing Certification; Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada and a Certificant, Canadian College of Family Physicians.
